Anyone AI App Design

Project Background

After selling the WeFast app, we wanted to build something with organic growth, so we focused on adding a social element.

With AI trending in 2023 and our experience with Stable Diffusion, we created Anyone. Anyone is a social app where users upload photos to receive AI-generated avatars, choosing the best one each day to share with friends.

Our goal is to bring daily joy and self-discovery to users.

As the lead and only designer, I handle both app and WebFlow website design. Since launching in January 2023, over 130 avatars are shared daily.

Design challenges

The biggest design challenges of this project are:

• How to make the photo upload process as easy as possible but still make sure the quality of the photos they upload is good. So they can get good results later.
• The app is invite-only, so it's very important to make the invite flow very straightforward so they can easily and be willing to invite more friends and add more friends.
• In order to have more organic growth, it's important that users share their avatars outside of the app.

Results

While developing this product was both enjoyable and challenging, we eventually decided to discontinue it to focus on new opportunities.
